That's true, I just feel like they're building up to something bigger for him. In the back of my mind, throughout season 2 I've had this sinking feeling that Grogu gets captured by the Empire, turned into a dark sith lord and becomes the new "bad guy". Like an Evil Yoda and they used the Mandalorian to build the backstory. Would be interesting anyways.
