Unreal that it's been 3 years already... I haven't slipped up once since, unless you include the time I took a few Percocet when I broke some ribs, but I don't count this as being on Suboxone prevents you from getting any kind of "high" from opiates.
I don't consider myself a prideful or arrogant person... I am proud of a few things however and being sober for 3 years after battling addiction for well over a decade is definitely one of them.
Going through all of this shit made me realize what I really want to do with my life and that is to help people. I hope to become an addictions counselor or mental health counselor like my parents were... and I want to reach out to anyone here that may be struggling, if you need someone to talk to, regardless of how little we know eachother, I'm here... hit me up anytime.
