I've owned some version of ASUS ROG Gaming Laptops for the last few, they've all been great. You'd be able to get something stupid for that price.
My current one cost me just over $2000 CDN back in 2017 and its still awesome, it has a desktop equivalent graphics card in it, not mobile. Its actually a touch better than my desktop
