"The police, the government, healthcare, immigration... it all needs to be rebuild to support a 2020 civilization, but instead people hold onto laws and values from the 1700s because it was written on paper by some people the US likes to glorify."

What?

"The American republic was founded on a set of beliefs... Among them was the idea that all people are created equal, whether European, Native American, or African American, and that these people have fundamental rights, such as liberty, free speech, freedom of religion, due process of law, and freedom of assembly." - John Hancock

The values that created the U.S. are the same values that should be followed today. The founding fathers, that are rightly glorified fyi, created a government that could easily flex with the times and never have full control of the people it governs.

Are there changes that need to happen? Absolutely. Does it have anything to do with the values the country was founded on? Not even remotely.

Real, fundamental change will never happen in the U.S. until term limits are instituted for all politicians. Once the lifetime politicians are removed and fresh ideas + people who genuinely care about making positive changes are put in place, we can see changes that move the country and world forward.
