When you say not as bad as we thought (objectively), what do you mean? That it _only_ has a mortality rate of 0.6%-3% instead of 8% or 10%?
Or that it is only 3x as contagious as the flu instead of 8x?
Or that some survivors have permanent lung scarring and reduced lung capacity? Or that it might be linked to odd child cases of toxic shock syndrome for asymptomatic kids?
Like - what exactly do you mean?
I get it. Things need to start rolling again. At risk people need to take more precautions than others. But holy shit... we'll be learning new shit about this new virus for years to come.
