I'm even trying to wrap my head about this in a conspiratorial manner, and I can't make sense of this. I subject myself to different news outlets, and can generally see a vague image of the picture they're trying to paint. Ultimately I can only see this helping Trump.
Even today MSNBC seems like they're going all in, only now they aren't spouting statistics they're showing hospital footage of people in despair. The verbiage from the anchors feels dramatically over sensationalized. Which isn't uncommon for any news outlet, but they are really cranking up the "Dead kid in street during a war" card from the deck.
