The Power of Now is one of the things (not just books... things) in my life that has changed both me as a person and my future endeavors. Eckhart is the closest thing I believe our Earth can *legitimately* and literally have as a "messiah". I also read the A New Earth book and while he goes a bit long in the descriptions and could have shortened it with an epic editor, it was great as well overall.
Everything Eckhart has ever said or done, in my perception, has been the best way to both think and to live and I respect him greatly for successfully penetrating the human soul and the truth of spirituality without having to resort to chanting Jesus Christ's liar name every time some unimaginable thing comes up.
