Maybe because solving the problem STARTS with taking responsibility for your problem first? You cannot FORCE an addict into recovery, they have to want it first. All other measures only cause them to pull away harder and deeper into addiction. Intervention and the like can only work to a degree, often they BACKFIRE spectacularly.
I swear this fucking generation has no sense of personal accountability anymore.... take some fucking responsibility for your actions, stop making everyone else clean up your mess of a life, and STOP making government a fucking parental figure!
