Subject: RE: Games of Thrones SPOILERS

So what you mean to say is that the very last scene of the show, of all tome, shows Jon not only going past the wall with the other wildlings, but goes into the forest with them while the show plays out and you don’t see that as a conclusion? Sure you can speculate all day what might happen afterwards, but I think you missed the point if that’s your thought pattern.

The 3 main reasons why Jon is not a Nights watchman:

- the night king and white walkers are gone, so what is the point of having a nights watch anyways? Wildlings aren’t hostile towards the south anymore so really, having a nights watch is pointless
- there’s nothing to defend against and a large chunk of the wall is destroyed. Why would they rebuild a wall that was built to protect them from things that don’t exist anymore? Makes no sense.
- he didn’t swear an oath yet to join the nights watch. He’s not bound to it and Jon has a deep connection to the wildlings in the North, so I doubt he would walk them into a forest only to return to watch a broken wall defend nothing.

It’s the most logical thing to think that he’s going to become the king of the wildlings like Mance was. Jon taking Mances place goes the story together. Don’t muddy the waters bro.

We could say that Drogo”s son Rhaegal or whatever is still alive because we never saw his body after Dany GABE birth and so on... we can only assume based on what we see and as it ends Jon is a wildlings and not a free folk forest escort poem you think.
