Natural cycles is like the earliest argument war, lol. I literally remember my dad recounting the hysteria over global cooling to me when I was like 10 years old. At the time he said they were wrong because the earth had natural 21 year cycles.
Now granted, he was almost certainly wrong at the time, especially in how specific his claim was. But still, this shit has been going on forever and a lot of people lose credibility (even if theyre ultimately right) by ignoring the history of sensationalized claims that the world will end if we don't enact The same policies that climate activists would favor even if there was no warming (i.e. Malthus, population bomb, global cooling, peak oil, etc ad nauseam).
