Oh, and this whole thing got started by SNC funneling cash into Libya in 2001 and if they get found guilty they would be barred from government contracts for the next 10 years. SNC is a huge company here and they do a shit ton of road work/city work for the government. I'm just guessing, but one would think a decision like that would sink a company or gravely injure it and that's without considering the rollover of government contracts after that 10 year period... doubtful that SNC would get ANY contracts even after the ban.
There's enough motivation on SNC's side to do some shady shit if they think they can get away with it. I don't really know how Trudeau ties into it as it's similar with the Russian collusion case, where it would appear that way, but no direct link to Trudeau being involved. Not from what I've seen anyway. Circumstantial and very possibly true, but it's not him on the phone.
