Most places are desperate for soccer coaches, especially for the younger kids, it's usually just one kid's parent. You don't need to know anything really.. I've coached a U-15 city rep team with zero training other than playing soccer through high school, it was fine.
You can also get into free/cheap coaching clinics, it wouldn't take all that much to be a pretty legit high end soccer coach.
