No they won't because they were hoping for vast amounts of data to someday monetize the losses... by essentially selling frequent customers back to the cinemas where they would buy up concessions (which is where cinemas make money).
That just never happened the way they thought it would.
Instead of lots of different people going to the movies, it was the same small group of hardcore moviegoers who sneak shit in and don't buy concessions anyway and were just racking up huge amounts of debt for MoviePass.
I think SOMETHING like it will take off, but not this incarnation.
