Typical response.
Somebody says guns might be a bad thing in America. In comes anecdotal evidence followed by actual studies and actual numbers with backup to go with it, and then nothing to follow up. Just the claim, nothing else.
Only thing I know is that America has so many guns it’s a fucking joke. Too many people think guns will protect them, while they ultimately end up causing more harm. Common sense gun laws like in Canada are an actual viable solution. We don’t sell or permit auto or semi auto assault rifles because there is no point I. Owning them unless you plan on killing lots of people. Want a gun to hunt or for home defence? Fine! Extensive background checks, get your forearm license and a waiting period and you can have it.
Can you honestly say that that makes no sense? Does it make more sense that it would be easier to get a gun than a car or vehicle license? Easier to get a gun than booze or pot? Common sense is common sense, nobody has to spell it out for you.
