I used to be hugely into D&D back in the day. I remember reading the 1st edition AD&D Dragonlance and Legends and Lore books all the time. I gravitated toward the Norse mythos and Greek mythos. When I first got Doom 2 (I must've been 13 or 14 at the time), I went to set up a DWANGO account and had never thought about cool aliases at the time. Zeus was just the first alias that popped in my head because I had just read Legends and Lore again recently.
Later on, as I started to take my beliefs more seriously I ended up regretting being known as Zeus online because every now and then someone would ask, why is a Christian using a false god for an alias? It ended up sticking in this community, but not in others.
