I truly don't think you see what Trump is actually doing, which is creating a massive divide between the left and right... further polarizing both sides. Constantly calling out Dems/Liberals and grouping them all up in the same bunch.
The festering rot that lives in the democratic party is thriving right now in the republican party under trump. Absolute disarray under a man who truly doesn't know what he's doing. He hasn't actually done anything for the country that has helped to unite it, only divide. That's pretty blatant.
