Subject: Blue/Red States and Net Neutrality

I don't believe in the huge gang that is the Conservative/Liberal division of America, and seeing maps of red and blue just make me laugh because it's a sad state of affairs when something is that divided - it may as well be Vietnam in 1965, the country I live in now who doesn't even do that to itself even though it's socialist and there was some sort of war 60 years ago. Fucking neanderthal shit. My family doesn't label itself, and we all believe individual things about individual topics and circumstances, and we don't agree with each other in many ways.

But can someone tell me why, why, why, it's only blue states right now that are protecting the internet? Next to Healthcare, Net Neutrality is probably one of the most important aspects of modern life in my opinion, and right now only Montana, on the conservative side, is putting up a big fight against that blubbering lardface, Ajit Pai.

Washington, Oregon, California, Vermont, Hawaii, Montana, New Jersey, and New York. The states fighting against the FCC's new "rulings". All blue except one.

And the rest of the nation just sits down and takes it?

This isn't even really about red and blue, and some blue states that you'd expect to be in the mix, like Minnesota, Maine, and maybe that horrendous swamp Florida, are nowhere to be seen defending the internet.

Why does most of America just settle for the bullshit that the government tries to pull? This should be up to the states, not the Feds, and it's a sad and sorry nation when the leaders of most of the 50 states just sit around and don't try and instantly repeal what that halfwit in the white house is trying to pull.

I don't understand the divide of the nation, the colors, and the labeling. But what I don't understand even more is that they really *do* follow each other like sheep. Blue follows blue like a bunch of idiots, and red follows red like a bunch of idiots. It's too bad for the reds that blue is correct in this case. I thought the middle of America was one of the places that needed faster internet with less caps and throttling anyway; maybe I have that backwards. Why aren't any of the conservative states except for the apparent glorious Montana standing up to all of this stuff?

It must come down to Americans, and the world, not knowing a single thing about technology. 99% of the population is mentally handicapped to the modern world. Like the Facebook Zuckerberg hearing recently with all of those questions about how they make money.

But that still doesn't explain the divide.

Just go to war already. God damn San Andreas fault, make your play, split the coast off for god sakes. I can't come back and live in such a fractured nation and feel like it's "home". This is my annual Fuck You, America post. All praise the forefathers, Jefferson, Franklin, Washington, and Fuck Trump and everyone who voted for him - and Fuck Hillary and everyone who voted for her.
