Not to brag or anything, but 5 seasons playing and I have 2 gold and 1 silver trophy. The other 2 seasons I fell way behind and just stopped caring (which I’m sure most of us do beyond a certain point).
This season I was in 3 leagues, this one, work one (with $240 pool) with 12 people and a buddies with 8 people... I placed first with buddies and second on this one and work one. So some of it has to do with luck, but I have several hundred points due to a few good early free agent pickups and some trades. I had several extra goalie games to play this season on our league because I was much more focused on the work league that had cash at stake. It really changes the intensity ... and sucks that we haven’t been able to pool money together to play. Anyways, my point is that without luck and some micromanaging you can jump a few spots for sure.
Maybe next season we can implement a required pot so in order to play we have to pony up come coin. Even if we have a fun league and pay league?
