Radulov is one example, and yes he was eligible to play in the NHL and could have but did not until the Habs picked him back up.

My only point is that KHL players playing for a team like Russia are better than most of the players on Canada or USA because the skill level in the KHL is closer to the NHL than any other league in the world and are still eligible to play in the olympics, which gives them an edge. Watch the KHL teams sometime, locomotive especially and you’ll see what I mean.
