Yea, but its shallow in the same vein as the current crop of "last man/team standing" games like PUBG and Fortnite BR.
The "fun" is what you make it.... the experiences and shenanigans and while dying sucks, it doesn't set you back that much and you just respawn and try it again.
Its a ton of fun so far.
