The last topic I remember about it was a farming thread. The general synopsis of the thread at that point, was that it was too expensive via power cost to really be of value.
Had only I known when it was relatively new I would have been farming in my apt that I didn't have to pay electricity for (I was in 1 of 3 apt's above a lighting store).
I know enough to know I don't know enough to comment on the future of bitcoin. The idea of it though does scare me. Not sure how valid that article is though.
