Yes, what I did was pathetic and didn't discredit your post in any way. Just like pointing out a logical fallacy when all we're doing is having a discussion is a pathetic attempt as well. I don't see the point in it especially when there's a good point being made. It's not a debate stage right? I could point out logical fallacies in just about any attempted debate online in any situation, so it's really pointless.
One piece of advice with your kid (if possible) to try and get a month of parental leave. I'm not sure if they let you do that in the states, but I was able to take a month with our firstborn and it was awesome to be able to bond with him in a way I wouldn't have been able to otherwise.
