I've fired an AK equipped with a bump stock and it's surprising how effective it is. Legislature states that a semi automatic weapon is one which fires one bullet for one trigger pull. Bump stocks do this, but allow you to pull the trigger dozens of times per second because it's not your finger that's moving, but the gun itself. It's actually a really interesting piece of technology.
