I've always figured if this happened to someone I know, i'd probably call the local women's shelter (assuming it's a woman, if it's a guy tell him to fuck off, work out, and get swole.) and let them know what's going on, ask them for advice. They probably have better experience than your average planetice/reddit gentleman*.
