I am 100% sober in 2017.
I never watch shows before I read the books and that includes stuff like Enders Game and Jurassic Park (movie was better obv).
The only exception has been Star Wars because I couldn't read well when I was 6, but I had the platinum VHS box trilogy for my birthday.
I don't believe in watching shows before reading books. It's just my personality and choice. Has nothing to do with alcohol or "if they are the same". I don't care if they are the same, even if that sentence sounds like a drakpedal.
