I loved seeing things progress...
I almost hated the way it has.
Would definitely prefer they had done it more along the lines they had done prior seasons.
Outpacing the books is a cop-out. The Double Ds have 1 foot out the door with their other big thing. GRRM and they aren't speaking either so he isn't writing shit for the show either.
The good news? Everyone will still feel compelled to read the last 2 books so they can get the PROPER detail it deserves.
I'm entertained. Love to see things progressing.
