Inf - It's completely impossible to get opiates here. They are so banned its incredible. I even know people with stage 1 cancer in pain that cant get them prescribed. Because the government is so scared since we are so close to the golden triangle (Laos, Cambodia, Northern Thai, and Myanmar HEROIN ring smuggling on a major worldwide scale). They dont allow opiates just like korea. Someone told me they know they can be prescribed for burn patients and some other major things, but Ive been in 'Nam for 15 months and ive seen acid and thousands of pills of E and like fourty million tons of liquid ketamine...and I havent seen a single pull of Hydro or Oxy. And I LOVE my opiates, I would be eating them up. I'm honestly just quite a happy person now. I know it sounds fucking stupid but after reading "the Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle and going to a few retreats which were all about just being in the now and not worrying about -anything- outside of the present moment, my girlfriend and I have been doing really really well. (btw thats not a self help book, it's not "a bible" of any sort LOL.. its just a book of extremely down to earth thoughts by a cool dude who really changed my outlook on life.
Anyway damn, he didn't change my outlook on Vicodin. I want some Vics right fucking now. I'd eat so many.

Haven't had a single drop of alcohol in 2017. Completely, 100% sober from alcohol for 6 months now and it's become so easy it's incredible at this point. Last year, 4 months of hardcore veganism, and this year, 12 months of no beer... my body is in better shape than its ever been in. I love meat and always have and will always eat it, on and off, but I swear those 4 months reset my system and was one of the best choices ive ever made.
Anyway im getting way off topic. Yes, Jan 2018 I'm ready to have some amazing microbrew beers in Hanoi! We know ALL The spots! ALL!~
