I think they could have almost reversed the order of the scenes and the episode might have been even better, but I still thought it was great. Imagine starting with the "let's begin" line from dragon queen there, and ending with red wedding 2.0?
Drak is such a stereotypical "BUT DA BOOKS IS BETTER!" fanboy, it's almost like he doesn't even realize it. We get it, if we only spent a couple hundred hours reading tens of thousands of pages of written word, we'd have a better experience and everything would magical. You're the first one to ever have that thought. Books are better than TV guys, COME ON!
