Ugh. I don't care about what dems and reps did 100 years ago and I don't care what they do now. All parties let slavery happen and many party members of each side owned slaves. I'm sure today there are racist democrats, but it's generally known that the alt-right, racists etc. are voting republican today. You won't find any racists voting democrat (well maybe a few). It's besides the point anyways... in a 2 party system there's a ton of shit on either side so fuck both of them straight to hell.
