That speculative BS is what's wrong with the media... so much biased crap and "opinions".
I think there was some shady backdoor shit with Trump and the Russians. My guess is that Putin wanted Trump elected because he was vocal about his ideas on NATO and how he might want to leave NATO someday. Putin hates NATO and he's being surrounded by them. Without NATO, Putin has free reign to attack/invade all the little weak countries that would have the US behind them if shit were to go down. This is all speculative too, but hey, I'm not a national media outlet so I'm allowed to guess.
Anyways, whatever ties Trump had/has with Putin isn't going to stop Putin or Trump from making big moves or vocalizing the dislike of said moves. It used to be political maneuvering (assuming the alleged ties were real), but now it's tomahawk missiles and that's a whole other game.
