Yes, how could anyone possibly "get" the concept of small government that used to guide the entire republican party in that country, only true old stock, blue blood conservatives could understand such a complex concept!
I'm just a hippie Liberal in Canada, so i suppose totally incapable of rational thought, but I have also disagreed with a few things done by our lord and saviour Justin Trudeau. However, I tend to voice those disagreements rather than just dismissing them as "let him do what he WANTS guys, we don't have to agree with everything"
Because ignoring the elephants in the room, and "agreeing to disagree" in order to bow out of anything approaching serious discussions allows the worst people in society to take over far more easily. That's the sort of holier than thou approach that could get you accused of being one of them liberal elites!
