While you're correct in saying that nothing was done about some of the stuff done previously, it didn't quite match the level of closing borders off completely even if for 90 days. Obama concentrated his deportations and blocks to illegal immigrants with criminal histories.
I'll be the first to say I don't trust or support any form of current government. I'll never say I'm a "supporter" of Trudeau, Harper, Trump, Clinton etc. because the system the way it is now is absolutely corrupt and self-serving.
That being said, Trump has the potential to cause a lot of shit... as annoying as it may be to hear the bitching and complaining about him, it's scary to think of the new breed of terror he's creating by isolating the middle east like he's doing now. This is exactly what young muslim males need to hate the west.
