Subject: RE: Since nobody is talking here...

My understanding of terms:

Theism: the belief in the existence of god or gods
Atheism: the lack of a belief in the existence of god or gods
Agnosticism: the lack of knowledge in the existence of god or gods
Anti-theism: the belief in the nonexistence of any god
Deism: the belief in a supreme being / creator that does not intervene in the universe (Also, I would classify simulation theory under deism.)

I prefer the separating the terms agnosticism and atheism for sake of clarity, as agnosticism is a position of knowledge, and a/theism are positions of belief. For example, you can have agnostic theist just as easily as you can have an agnostic atheist, and if we are being honest, everyone is agnostic. Otherwise someone would have proof of something to justify the "knowledge" that they have.

As for William Lane Craig, I've watched a couple of his debates, and I don't find his arguments to be all that convincing. "If the universe has a cause, then an uncaused, personal Creator of the universe exists." That seems like a huge assertion / "leap of faith" to me.
