Okay let's take out FPS games for a minute then. What about the Diablo type games that are cross platform? There are hundreds of co-op games out there played by both sides that don't benefit either way really. Why not multiplayeracross for those games. There's enough games where a console or PC hold no advantage to the other, but you can't play with somebody on the other. You would think that in these cases alone it would be good for the gaming companies to integrate as it most likely would bolster sales.
