I extended it to be able to pull the best "takes" from each part and weave them into the final cut later on. I left it long like this so I could just let it run and solo over it to work out other melodies. The song will be cut down a bit with some sort of break in the middle once I work something out. So for right now as the tune sits it is just an example of the main structure of the song. I'm still feeling this one out. I never rush these things... it might be weeks or months before the perfect piece of the puzzle comes to me, then I'll add it to the track. I have others for this album I am working on as well but those will be released when they're better fleshed out. And they wont all sound like "a massive wall of cowboy" either like this one does... hehee.
