The Tyrion journey parts in the book were actually really awesome. I fell like we've only gotten the top 1% of the characters, and for that it is shame. We'd wait another 20-30 years for a remake of GoT:SOIAF and when it is done, it'll be a better series with a rich and deep cast.
I will ACCEPT what they've given us, but it is no LOTR or Hobbit.
