You may think it's moving too fast, but think about the first few seasons and how fast they moved. There were major plots going full circle in 1 or 2 episodes. What has really happened in season 6 that's any different? Dany is still in Mereen, Tommen is still king, The white walkers are still coming, but not at the wall yet. A lot of stuff has happened obviously, but really it's only a few people moving around the chess board and there are still virtually unlimited possibilities going forward.
