It's true that the headlines bring up the emotions in people, but it's strange because if you see a Mass Shooting headline in the news it's shocking, but the same number of people are getting killed every week, it's just spread out. There are way more than we realize because when 4 or 6 people get killed it's not making national headlines.
Over 3500 children are dying every day around the world, but you can't stick that headline up everyday because it's just a part of normal life now.
