So you've just proven that you only read what you want to read. They include suicides, but also separate homicides. A massive decrease that begins the exact year of the gun control:
"Total intentional gun deaths fell by half in the decade after the 1996 restrictions were put in place, even as Australia’s population grew nearly 14 percent. The rate of gun suicides per 100,000 people dropped 65 percent from 1995 to 2006, and the rate of gun homicides fell 59 percent, according to a 2010 study by Andrew Leigh of Australian National University and Christine Neill of Wilfrid Laurier University."
Not sure how you missed that, but a 59% decrease in homicide after has nothing to do with the suicode rate.
Anyways, like I said, show me the other side... The actual proof that has you so convinced that it's the opposite. I'm legitimately curious as to why you think that Australia's gun control changed nothing.
