I think we can all agree that the main cause of the violence is not the guns but the mental fuckwits that get their hands on the guns. So what do you do about it? Trump or Clinton can say it's a mental health problem, but what is to be done? How do you drop crime? How to you help get the poor and mentally unstable the help they need without hitching your car to the liberal train? We all know the prison system is one of the hugest fuck ups in American history, but what will fix it?
Don't mistake my comment for saying that guns have nothing to do with it. Just moving forward to the next step and what you might think could be done about it. I just don't see anybody close to office offering an actual solution other than throwing more criminals and addicts in prison.
