Anyone who tries to say the Democrats and Republicans are equally bad, really isn't paying attention. The Republicans are on the wrong side of so many issues that it is no wonder that they now have Trump as the presumptive nominee. Trump is a sign of the apocalypse for the GOP, he is their swan song, the nadir of their orbit. The GOP is about to self destruct and be recreated, although it will take years to happen. It has been following this trajectory since the days of Reagan when the bargain was made with the religious bigots. They have been a millstone around the neck of conservatives for a couple of generations now and they have thoroughly warped the party away from its conservative roots.
