2nd problem is that steam can ban you from your account if they catch you sharing an account with somebody else. Might seem obvious to them if the same account is logged into within hours or even days from 2 different countries. I`m guessing they have a red flag system for something like this.
Good call in the end though steering clear. You might have saved a few bucks, but probably not worth the risk at this point.
