If you were able to make goalie points even up with forward/defensive points I'm sure we'd all be happy with that. Here's my idea: Have 3 goalie slots for each team, just like forwards. Have it work out so a goalie on a good night will get 3-5 points (same as most forwards).
A win can be 2 points, but have every 15 saves be 1 point or something like that. I think with a shutout and 40 saves a goalie should get 7-8 points max because that is pretty much the most a good player would get with a couple goals and plus minus. Whatever works so that a goalie will get the same points as a skater on a good night, and punished equally for poor play. Most players on an off night with get -1 or -2, but most goalies on an off night still get 2-3 points.
