Another shitty season for the Oilers. Even if Connor McJesus played the whole season, we'd still be in the basement. Have you seen a Connor McDavid hi-lite reel? Even some of his non goal plays are spectacular. Dude skates around players with no effort.
Anyways...Last Oilers game in the old Coliseum tonight. First ever event at the Coliseum was the WHL Oilers in 1974. Then NHL expansion in 1979, then the Oilers owned the NHL between 1983 - 1990 and that was the last of any NHL Dynasties. Lost game 7 to Carolina in 2006 Stanley Cup Finals. And now 10 years of finishing last. But the trade bait this year is unbelievable.
New Building for 2016-17 season. Really looking forward to it. The concourses in the old building are tiny and uber crowded.
