.50 BMG has come way, way down in price apparently.
Some ranges you can BYOA, assuming it meets their criteria.
$30CDN for 5 rounds isn't horrid, considering it's a heavy MG round.
Like 32,000 ftlbs of pressure at the barrel hahaha
