Well ya know, when the drone went by me I thought I was well above the height of the wires. And I'm flying first person view so I'm not looking at the drone after it passed me.
Then the view goes cock-eyed and I See the ground getting bigger fast. I max the throttle and the drone does it's best to stay level with only 3 good props. I see the rocks bounce around on the screen and I figured I smashed it for sure.
Let go of controller and do the walk of shame. To my surprise, a broken prop is the only damage I see. Literally not a scratch on it. You can see the rubber pad in the video as it's going down. So it landed upright on the gear.
So yea, I hit the wires and feel pretty stupid for doing it. Should see the vid show up in other peoples drone fail vids soon.
