Basically, that's the rational takeaway from the Doc.
A) I don't know if he killed her or not. That's because there are enough holes in the theory/story to suggest it may have been a setup.
B) Because of the holes, there is enough doubt to have an innocent verdict.
C) An innocent verdict does not mean he's not guilty, just that the Prosecution did not prove its case. (See OJ)
