I've been meaning to brush up on my WW1 history and knowledge for about 10 years now. I just never have gotten around to learning the amount I want to know, because WW2 shit always pops up and overshadows it. But my grandpa always told me WW1 was way, way more brutal on an individual level, and trench warfare on *that* scale will never be seen again since the technology and weaponry is now here to prevent that, in a way. Maybe Ill check it out.
