This is a global issue and USA is doing quite well during this slump.
Oil producers are trying to drive shale oil market out of business. And it's working. Google it. Opec nations are producing over 20% more than agreed to drive oil down to a nickle.
And China's import demands have dropped significantly in the past while. And IMO America's commitment to "Buy American" does the global economy no good.
And speaking of China, they got their second aircraft carrier up and running, the DIY island's runway is open for fighter jet business and they got rid of the baby ban. Smells like an uprising to me.
