CBC pod casts. http://www.cbc.ca/radio/podcasts/index.html

Or search CBC in your podcast app.

I recommend CBC podcasts to everyone who likes podcasts.

World Report because it's up to the minute news.
Then maybe The World at Six. It's more in depth, but it's yesterday evening news if listened to in the day time.

Now for the other CBC pod casts:

The Irrelevant Show is hilarious.
For example: Aliens have attacked during an NHL game. Now it’s time for a post-game press conference with the least expressive coach in hockey, Darryl Sutter. MP3

Or: Jocelyn Ahlf sings a song of heartbreak on behalf of a Fitbit, the poor, misunderstood fitness device that’s strapped to an ungrateful wrist. Fitbit Song

Then there's:
Spark for tech trends and culture.
Quirks & Quarks for science
Under The Influence is a fascinating look at advertising through the ages.
White Coat, Black Art has interesting stories and history about hospitals and medicine and pharmaceuticals and such.
This is That
Ideas
Laugh Out Loud
Grownups Read Things They Wrote as Kids
Comedy Factory
As It Happens
Because News
Misener on Tech

And Many Many more at CBC.

Except The Debators, it's an awesome CBC show, so awesome they want money for it...blah....

But if only one? http://www.cbc.ca/radio/podcasts/comedy/the-irrelevant-show/ is my favorite. It's also G rated for the whole family. My 12yo son has listened to them all at least 3 times.

Hockey player thanks the crowd for reminding him to shoot the puck, because sometimes he forgets. hilarious!

Anyways.......
